Do you know what Johnny & Associates Inc. is? Johnny & Associates Inc. (in Japanese -Kabushikigaisha Janizu Jimusho) is a talent agency formed by Johnny Kitagawa in 1962. The agency trains and promotes groups of male idols, collectively known as Johnny's (Jyanizu) in Japan. Every year, about 150 young male at the age of 7-13 joins the agency to become a star. They are trained based on their talents and skills such as singing, dancing, and acting. They would be the back dancers for their sempai/senior then, as they to improve and gain skills, they will have their own group to debut. Many famous artist group in Japan such as Kat-tun, NEWS, SMAP, Arashi, Kinki Kids, Tokio, Hey! Say! JUMP are formed under this agency.

is a J-Pop group under Johnny & Associates, consisting of 10members. The name Hey! Say! refers to the fact that all the members were born in the Heisei period and JUMP in the acronym for Johnny's Ultra Music Power. Hey! Say! JUMP is form after combining the Hey! Say! 7 group with Hey! Say! BEST.
