Japanese Club of SMK Tropicana

ようこそ＾0＾Welcome to the SMK Tropicana Japanese Club(JClub for short) blog! The club was formed in year 2010 with a total of 95 members. The purpose of creating this club is to raise funds for bringing improvement to our school's facilities and also to enable students to share their love and passion in Japanese anime, manga, game and also K-Pop ^w^ JClub is conducted by 3 supporting teachers and of course our kaichou -Mikasan, assistant -Yurikosan(Christine) and the rest of the committee members.

Our yearly activities are: Learning Japanese Language, Anime drawing contest, Karaoke Contest, Anime&Game Quiz Contest, Trip to the Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur and not to forget, our biggest event: Cosplay & J+K-Pop Dance Cover Contest. Most of our activities are organized for our school students. However, on year 2010, the leaders of the JClub decided to take huge step in organizing a public event, which is the Cosplay & J+K-Pop Dance Cover Contest 2011. There were many difficulties in holding the event as we had to get approval from the education department of Selangor and also from our principle. However, with passion and determination of our leaders and committee members in Cosplay and J/K-Pop, they will do their very best in making the event success! がんばります

We hope that the Jclub will be more and more active and successful in years to come and that more anime/game/K-Pop/J-Pop freak will join and participate actively in our club's activities and events.
